The Melon World Event was an event that ran from the beginning of August 2014 until the 3rd of September 2014. It was its own world on the Core Server.

"To choose a side and begin, visit the World Hub, where two portals have sprung up. To gain entry, you must complete a quest given to you by the Gatekeeper of the portal you wish to enter. Once you complete the quest you will be permanently bound to the respective team, so choose wisely." - TMB Tumblr; August 2014
- outside items were not allowed within the Melon world, in order to keep things fair.
- Traded pumpkins/melons for prizes and supplies within the world.
- 50-block-wide Neutral Zone over the border where block breaking and PvP were not allowed
