Permissions are perks accessible by players of different Ranks on each server. Permissions include any ability, including commands, world access, server features, and more. All commands shown on this page follow our basic Command Syntax.

Playtime Ranks

Guest

The following commands and permissions are available starting with Guest Rank, which is the default rank upon joining.

Basic /ping Prints "Pong!" to chat. Useful for checking lag.
Basic /realname <player> Shows the username of a player using a nickname (prefaced with a tilde (~))
Basic /birthday <MM-DD-YYYY> Sets your birthday for the birthday plugin. You can only set it once, so pay attention to the date format. If you set it incorrectly, you will need to file a support ticket to get it changed.
Basic /bgift claim Claims your birthday present when logging in on your birthday.
Messaging /mail check Displays all unread mail messages.
Messaging /mail clear Marks all unread mail messages as read.
Teleportation /warp hub Warp back to the World Hub World Hub 300
Teleportation /tpa <player> Send a teleportation request to a player. Only Members and above can accept. World Hub 300
Teleportation /tptoggle (on | off) Toggles ability to be sent teleportation requests.
Teleportation /suicide Kills yourself World Hub
Economy /econ Displays the number of Clams you own.
Economy /pay <player> <amount> Pay any amount of Clams to a player from your wallet.
Economy /econ top5 Shows the players with the top 5 highest amounts of Clams.
OnTime /ontime Shows your playtime stats, including total playtime, daily/weekly/monthly playtime, Loyalty Points, and more.
OnTime /ontime top Shows the players with the 10 highest total playtimes.
OnTime /ontime top 10 playtime <today | week | month> Shows a detailed OnTime top 10 for different time frames.
OnTime /referred by <player> Used by referred players to designate the player who referred them. Can only be used once, and cannot be used after a player has accumulated 24 hours of play time.
Shops /shop browse (page) Shows the inventory of the shop you are currently in.
Shops /shop buy <item> (amount | all) Buy items from the shop you're currently in. You can specify how many of that item you want to buy, or type all for the amount to buy as many as you can.
Shops /shop sell (item) (amount | all) Sell items to the shop you're currently in. Omit the name of the item to sell whatever is in your hand. You can specify how many of that item you want to sell, or type all for the amount to sell as many as you can.
Arena /<arenaType> join (map) Join the queue for an arena match on the specified map, or a random map if unspecified.

Valid arena types are ctf (Capture the Flag), spleef, deathmatch, zs (Zombie Survival), ffa (Free for All), and pb (Paintball).

Flatlands
Arena /arena leave Leaves the current arena queue or match.
Calculator /add <addend> <addend> Adds two numbers together and prints the result to chat
Calculator /subtract <minuend> <subtrahend> Subtracts the subtrahend from the minuend and prints the result to chat
Calculator /multiply <multiplicand> <multiplier> Multiplies two numbers together and prints the result to chat
Calculator /divide <dividend> <divisor> Divides divisor from dividend and prints the result to chat.
Calculator /exponent <base> <exponent> Raises base to the power of exponent and prints the result to chat.
Calculator /root <degree> <radicand> Takes the degree root of radicand and prints the result to chat.
Calculator /sqrt <radicand> Takes the square root of radicand and prints the result to chat.
Calculator /cbrt <radicand> Takes the cube root of radicand and prints the result to chat.
Calculator /square <base> Squares base and prints the result to chat.
Calculator /cube <base> Cubes base and prints the result to chat.
Calculator /abs <number> Prints the absolute value of number.
Calculator /sin <number>

/cos <number>

/tan <number>

/sinh <number>

/cosh <number>

/tanh <number>

Prints value of trigonometric function executed on number (in radians) to chat.
Permission Access to all unrestricted features, worlds, and areas.

Member

After playing for a total of 24 hours, players are promoted to Member Rank and are awarded the following permissions. These permissions include all permissions for Guest rank as well.

Locking /scl trust add <player> Adds a player to your trusted players list for locked blocks. Only affects blocks locked after the change is made.
Locking /scl trust list Lists your current trust list
Locking /scl trust remove <player> Removes a player from your trusted players list for locked blocks. Only affects blocks locked after the change is made.
Locking /scl trust clear Clears trusted player list. Only affects blocks locked after the change is made.
Shops /shop select Turns on shop creation mode. With an empty hand, left click on the lower corner and right click on the upper corner to select your shop area. Make sure to set the boundaries in three dimensions, as players will need to be inside this area to interact with your shop. All but the Survival World
Shops /shop create <name...> Create your shop using your selected shop area. All but the Survival World
Shops /shop add (item) Add an item or stack of items from your inventory or hand to your shop while inside it. All but the Survival World
Shops /shop set <buy | sell> <itemName...> (price) Set the buy or sell price for an item in your shop. Buy price is the price the shop buys items from the player for, vice versa for sell. Omit price to remove the buy or sell price from that item. Remove both buy and sell prices for an item to remove its listing from your shop. All but the Survival World
Shops /shop set max stock <itemName...> <amount> Modifies the maximum amount of items of that type your shop can hold. This only effects players' ability to sell to your shop. All but the Survival World
Horses /horse types /h t Lists all available horse types
Horses /horse buy <name> <type> /h b <name> <type> Buy a horse with the specified name and type. Horse name does not support spaces. World Hub,

Flatlands

Horses /horse summon (name) /h s (name) Summon your horse. Defaults to last summoned horse. World Hub,

Flatlands

Horses /horse dismiss /h d Dismisses your active horse.
Permission Break a log with a gold or diamond axe to chop down the whole tree.
Permission Use a leash on a hostile mob that hasn't seen you yet to tame it.
Permission Set up a shop on the 3rd floor of the New Core Mall.

Iron

After 5 days of total playtime, players rank up to Iron rank. The following permissions, as well as all of the above, become available:

Emerald

After 15 days of total playtime, players reach Emerald rank, and gain the following permissions in addition to all of the above:

Diamond

After reaching 35 days of total playtime, players reach the coveted Diamond Rank and receive the following permissions in addition to everything above:

WorldEdit //wand Adds the WorldEdit wand (a wooden axe) to your inventory. Left click on a block to set the first corner of a region, then right click on another block to set the far corner. WorldEdit creates an imaginary 3D selection with these points and allows you to modify the blocks inside it. All but the Flatlands
WorldEdit //set <block> Sets every space inside your region to the block specified. All but the Flatlands
WorldEdit //replace <block1> (block2) Replaces every instance of block1 in your selection to block2, or replaces all non-air blocks with block1 if block2 is not specified. All but the Flatlands

Paid ranks work differently than playtime ranks. These ranks are applied on top of the player's current playtime rank, and do not include permissions of other ranks.

Sponsor rank can be purchased from the webstore starting at $5 for one month. Sponsor rank awards players the following permissions:

Basic /nick <nickname> Set your nickname. Your nickname must follow the Core Server rules by not being obnoxious, disrespectful, etc. and by containing a significant portion of your real name or username.
Basic /nick off Removes your nickname.
Basic /hat Puts the block in your hand onto your head.
Basic /trails Opens the Trails menu, allowing you to choose any particle effect you want.
Pets /pet select Opens pet selection menu. Click on a spawn egg to spawn a pet of that mob type. Right click on the pet to access its options. World Hub
Pets /pet name (name) Rename your pet. If name is not specified, you will be prompted to enter the new name in your next chat message.
Pets /pet hide Temporarily hides your pet.
Pets /pet show Shows your hidden pet. World Hub
Pets /pet remove Permanently deletes your pet.
Pets /pet call Teleports your pet to your location World Hub
Permission Use Color and Formatting codes in horse names and on signs
Permission All records put into jukeboxes loop and jukeboxes draw from adjacent chests.
Permission Set up a shop in the main thoroughfare of the New Core Mall.
Permission Listing in the Sponsors section on the blog and in the Temple of Beginnings.
